Okay ladies, I’m trying to find some melancholy/ peaceful/ spiritual/ uplifting songs to load into my iPod for my birth/ C-section day. (I say either because I have no idea what God has in store for me this time around. Personal preference? VBAC!!)
So far I have a few, but I would totally love & adore you for giving me some ideas. Did you listen to music while birthing? Do you have a song fave or two that mellows you? Do tell, please! Mama needs some peace!
So far, this is what I’ve got…..
Long Day is Over (Norah Jones)
It Is Well With My Soul (Jars of Clay)
You Raise Me Up (Josh Groban)
Hallelujah (Rufus Wainright) but I’m fighting not to envision that dread dude who recently did his version of this on American Idol.
I Need Thee Every Hour by Jars of Clay
Its not much of a playlist, but its a start. But I would so love you more if you told me what does it for you! Please, with cherries… and a hormonal preggo who will probably eat those cherries before you!
