I now have a FOUR YEAR OLD. When did that happen?? Oh yeah, last week… a mere 24 hours before I was at triage for dehydration from the flu. Let the good times roll, my friends! And to truly recap the 4-1-1… just a few days before that I was at triage for mild contractions. WHUH?? (We can discuss that in another post.)
So, without further lip-flapping, I present my 4 year old, overjoyed with all the hoopla of a birthday party at the Children’s Museum… pizza, cake, candles, balloons, friends, pinata & all.
Doesn’t she look thrilled??? And this was at the peek of her Happy Birthday song. Oh yeah, baby, enthusiasm oozes from her. In her defense, she did finally come around. Maybe its the bow. Should I lay off putting bows on her head? I always swore I would never subject my daughter to that creative torture, but dammit she’s so cute with them! Speaking of oozing cuteness, this was her actual birthday morning…
She sported that tiara & earring set all day long, girls! If that isn’t divalicious, I have no clue what is. And I cannot go without mentioning (& showing) what she wore out all day.
I let my birthday princess peruse the grand aisles of the local dollar store for dress-up makeup goodness. That’s living the princess high-life, girls!
So the birthDAY is turning into a birth-week celebration. Its only once a year…. how bad can it get??
How do you celebrate your wee ones’ birthdays? Do you wish you were still a kid on your birthdays?
