Yes girls, its more pink & estrogen in the house of OMM! Poor Papa is so out-numbered, even the dog is a girl.
Above you see her sporting her fabulous, fresh-off-the-runway genie costume. All girl, I tell ya!
Below, is our preshus un-named baby girl at 17 weeks, when we first were told “Its a girl.” And yes, I’ll be a prude & not post the sono pic of her girly parts that identified her. What??? I gotta start early on teaching her “privacy”. Lord knows I have enough trouble keeping Starlet’s clothes on!

So with that news, Starlet announced that we neeeeeed a stocking for Baby Girl… the one in Mama. So this decor was conceived…
Yes of course that is a “suede” stocking with a “fur” trim for Mama. We must not forego fashion, now shall we girls? (See? I can do girls! Thank God I’m having another one!)
So this pregnancy we bucked up & thought we’d give the 3D/4D hype a try. Our first go’round was last week while my parents were out. Lil Miss Thang did not feel the need to show her face. She was more concerned with her hair, apparently. Or her bum. That’s my girl! So they graciously re-scheduled & advised that I try a cold, sugar-loaded Sl*rpee before my next appointment. You know, to get her movin’ & shakin’. So opportunity taken! Sugar, I did! And caffeine too of course…. since I’ve deprived my self of all things caffeinated. {{sniff sniff}}

Did she obey? Not so much. She’s already showing that she shall not be told when to perform. She kept her head crammed in my hip the whole time, so we got no great face shots. Maybe the silver lining should be that she didn’t move & shake nearly as much as I did with all that sugar. Or does that mean that she has a high tolerance for sugar already?? But she is proving that she already knows how to accessorize. Here she is, making Mama proud by wearing her umbilical cord like a fab chunky necklace. Go, girl!
Below you can see her cozying up into my hip (on left) & the placenta (on right). Just wait, child, your day of hip widening shall come too!

As for names, I have my favorites, which of course Starlet agrees with, but Hubz is yet to be strong-armed wooed. So until we have one solidified, you probably won’t hear me mentioning any. Unlike my belly buddy, Kelly, who had her names picked even before they found out what they were having! She’s so cool like that.
Now on to the BUMP ALERT! Here is my 21 week belly blocking our Christmas tree…
And for this next one, I’ll wait while you don some dark sunglasses…
Go on…
You’ll need them.
Here I am in all my glowing white, wintery glory….

See? Dark sunglasses totally needed. Sorry if that burned your eyes a bit.
Ah the beauty of motherhood. And just this morning Hubz says, “You’re not gonna get much bigger than that, are you?” Oh just you wait, buddy!
