…. not good news on the infertility front. Allow me to sum it all up….

14.8 MILLION well-qualified, hand-picked, RE-approved swimmers who know which way is north.

5 days of Cl*mid.

3 beautiful mature follicles.

1 painful HCG injection that Hubs had to give me. Note to self: Do not EVER piss of Hubs earlier that same day that he needs to do injection.

1 painful IUI procedure. Painful because let’s just say that things were not properly positioned & Dr. RE had to move things around. (Go ahead. Feel sorry for me. Let me hear those eensty little violins playing for me.)
1 single solitary pink line on the pregnancy test.

You’d think all that math would add up, right? But God’s timing & reason is no mathematical equation. So IUI Round 2 is this week.

I want to thank each & every one of you who sent e-mails & left such supportive loving comments. I wanna hug all y’all!! You are all such blessings & I cannot thank you enough nor properly express my gratitude for your hearts. I apologize for being MIA in blogland lately, but between the single pink line & what is going on with what I mentioned in my private post, I hope you understand why I’ve kind of lost my mojo to blog lately. I want to, I swear, I really do. Honest!

In other news: Coming home from church yesterday we asked Starlet what her Sunday school lesson was about.

“We learned about a ship. A holy ship. And the man that touched the ship got killed. He wasn’t supposed to touch the ship ’cause it was holy.”

We were dying with laughter when we figured out what she was talking about.

Then earlier last week she & I were outside watering & I said,”Man, this fern is outta control!” Her reply? “Mommy, then it definitely isn’t filled with the Spirit.” (We’ve been working on learning the fruits of the Spirit.)

God is so good. I’m hoping to have a private post up sometime in the near millennium about some amazing things that God has been revealing in my life. He is truly amazing.
